Dojo Stara Wieś, Poland
June 17-20, 2027

Dojo Stara WieĹ›

Nestled beautifully within the colorful landscape of central Poland’s fields and forests, Dojo Stara Wieś enchants its guests with abundant tranquility and inner peace. Japanese architecture, bountiful space and plenty of silence allow you to forget about the everyday hustle and bustle, let your mind rest and find the balance to proceed calmly on your life path.

The Dojo is a place from which you may embark on a journey towards your own destination. This is the perfect setting to dive deep into the festival’s theme of “Emptiness & Purpose”.

The Center occupies 60 hectares of truly magical space. Surrounded by forests, it is located in the heart of the picturesque Przedborski Landscape Park, known for its varied scenic landscape, limestone formations and rich biodiversity.

There are 16 high-standard cottages located on the Center’s premises. As Japanese tradition requires, they offer a high level of comfort and discretion that can be enjoyed in a calm atmosphere, close to nature. The heart of the Center is the Dojo itself, built around a Zen-style gravel garden, with plenty of light and space to move through and explore.

Another highlight is the tea house, located in a pavilion on the shore of a small lake. It is surrounded by trees, shrubs and stone elements typical of Japanese gardens. Its authentic Japanese interior has been designed to create a perfect feeling of harmony. This light-filled room, illuminated by generous windows, allows guests to enjoy a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Guests can also enjoy the sauna, beautifully situated by the water in a separate building with terraces. With showers and a relaxation room with loungers, it offers a wonderful place to warm the body, unwind in silence and gently integrate the depth of the festival experience.

Google Maps directions

For many international guests, the easiest route is to arrive in a larger city first and then continue by rental car or train and taxi for the final part of the journey into the countryside.

Nearby Airports

For international travel, we primarily recommend flying into Warsaw Chopin Airport, as it offers the most convenient connections. You may also consider flights to KrakĂłw or Katowice, depending on availability and your travel plans.

Railway Stations

If you are traveling by train, the nearest stations are Włoszczowa and Włoszczowa Północ. From there, the final part of the journey to Dojo Stara Wieś will require a taxi or private transfer.

Accomodation

For the fullest festival experience, the natural choice is to stay onsite, allowing the atmosphere of the gathering to continue long after the formal sessions have ended. The Center offers 16 high-standard cottages set within the grounds. Standard cottages include three double rooms and one single room, while the venue also lists VIP and Super VIP house options for guests who seek a little more privacy and comfort.

MEALS

Meals will be served in the canteen, located in the building next to reception.  With a professionally equipped kitchen onsite, the venue is able to provide nourishing, high-quality meals at very reasonable prices.

The menu can be adapted to differing dietary needs within our international festival community but meals are, of course, optional.

Alongside traditional tables, there is also a Japanese-style dining area, and an outdoor deck that becomes a natural extension of the space.

AMENITIES

Onsite

Dojo Stara Wieś offers participants a beautiful space to soften, warm up and integrate the depth of the total experience.

What makes this place so complete is that everything needed for a rich and immersive gathering is already held within the land itself: the central Dojo building with its large training spaces, the accommodation cottages, the lakeside tea house, the dining hall and the sauna.

Accessibility

Guests with reduced mobility or specific accessibility needs will be supported with care.

Room placement, transport between buildings and the overall festival flow will be arranged in the most comfortable way possible.

This is less a limitation of spirit than a practical reflection of the venue’s expansive natural design.
