What people are saying from last year workshop:

First of all, Chris is truly an experienced teacher. He has extraordinary energy, dynamism and wisdom. During this course, he was able to restore creativity, intuition and fluidity to the forefront in my shiatsu practice. Having studied visual arts in my early twenties, I have the impression of rediscovering this artist who had somewhat fallen asleep within me! Over the last year, I have continued to nourish my curiosity about the meaning of acupuncture points. The images that emerge are so clear that they now fit naturally into my hands to follow the movement of Qi during shiatsu sessions.

Chris McAlister is a poet, an artist and a passionate practitioner of Chinese medicine. For me, this was a landmark encounter in my career as a shiatsu therapist. Verbomotor, he talks about his experiences and his vision of shiatsu and Chinese medicine with humour and sincerity. I learnt new manoeuvres and katas, but it was his vision and approach to Chinese medicine that made the biggest impression on me. It brought me back to basics, listening, being gentle and, above all, trusting the process.
